Assignment One

1. Why do you think Rameck made the choices he did? He knew right from wrong, so what motivated him to choose the "wrong" path as a teen?

I think that Rameck just wanted to fit in with his peers. He just looked up to his friends because his father wasn't really around and thought that he could make choices all on his own.

2. Considering both his parents were drug addicts, was he really responsible for his actions? Explain your opinion.

Yes, he was responsible for his action even if his parents weren't perfect he still knew what he was doing and it's not up to his parents to make the choices for him. He is a teenager and he knows what he is doing and knows right from wrong because at that age most teenagers just want to be left alone so they can make there own decision.

3. Are young people responsible for their actions if they have no good role models or people to teach them the right way to live? Explain your opinion.

Yes, young people are responsible for there action. It just takes a person to know what they are doing to be able to be responsible for there action. It doesn't matter who is there to teach them.

4. Who are the biggest influences in your own life? In what ways have they shaped you? What have they taught you?

The biggest influence in my life have been my grandma, mom, uncles and aunts. They have taught me everything possible. They have taught me to stand up for what i believe in. They helped me be a stronger person. They taught me respect and responsiblity.
